Polyurethane Injection Technology

Sinkholes in the Northeast Region

Sinkholes can occur over existing structures, allowing them to settle rapidly.

Sinkholes are sometimes a sign of poorly filled-in land.  When properties in the Northeast portion of the country contain large sinkholes, there is a good probability that filling operations ultimately caused the problem.

Sinkholes can also develop inside existing buildings, such as warehouses, industrial buildings, and even residential structures.   Sunken concrete floors can greatly impact those occupying such areas.  Existing businesses operations are most affected by the sinkhole and the traditional construction work used to repair the problem.

In some cases, foam injections can be an ideal solution for filling void space.  This high-tech material can be used to fill in a cavity and lifting the concrete slab up as well.   Concrete floors are put back into use immediately, as the polyurethane fully sets up within 15 minutes.
