Our specialty polyurethane injection technologies provide superior material qualities when compared tor traditional grouts. This high-tech foaming technology is vastly superior to traditional grouts in almost every way possible. In addition to it's lightweight and high-strength properties, polyurethane foam is revolutionizing the grouting industry.

Slab settlement applications include:

Soil Stabilization: In some cases, slab settlement is caused form poor soils. These soils can be strengthened utilizing a variety of minimally invasive soil improvement techniques. Permeation grouting and compaction grouting are two examples of improving a soil deposit without excavation and replacement work.

Concrete Raising: Settled Slabs can be lifted through the slabjacking process. EFT specifically offers polyurethane foam injections for slab settlement repair.

Helical Piles: EFT also provides a vast array of helical piering for supporting concrete slabs. In most cases when poor soils are present, helical piles are installed before the concrete slab is poured to prevent future settlement. When a slab is built over poor soils and settled, helical piers sometimes can be utilized to stabilize and lift the slab.
